Personal research application
JOS Video Research
A private workspace for collecting YouTube videos and turning selected sources into research notes.
What the application does
JOS Video Research connects to its owner's YouTube account to read playlists and video metadata, collect videos from selected channels, and organize a research queue. It can add or remove playlist items when the owner confirms an action.
For videos selected for analysis, the application uses transcripts and OpenAI Codex to generate summaries and research briefings. The owner can export selected results to a personal Obsidian vault.
Who can use it
This is a personal application operated by JOS for its owner. It is not a public registration service. This website provides application information; the research workspace requires separate authentication.
